01 The Undiscovered Country Episode 113th June 1979 Tom Crane goes to Edinburgh in search of an occult practioner, only to find himself the centre of the devious schemes of others. Tom slowly begins to realize that he has certain psychic abilities while doing research on a story. Unbeknowst to Tom, a secret government agency has been monitoring him. Once they begin to understand that Tom is gifted, they want to discover his full range of abilities and try luring Tom into working for them. 02 Visitations Episode 220th June 1979 Tom becomes the guinea pig in an investigation which leads him, and the research team, to a house where they find more than they bargained for. 03 Night Games Episode 327th June 1979 A secret military exercise that ends in disaster, frightened villagers and his brother found wandering on a hillside sends Tom in search of an old enemy. 04 After Image Episode 44th July 1979 Anne leaves Edinburgh and Tom sets out to find her; but there are several other interested parties behind him. 05 Powers of Darkness Episode 511th July 1979 A group of students and a ouija board involves Tom in a situation which has terrifying consequences. 06 Child's Play Episode 618th July 1979 A boy is suspended from school for vandalism. When the boy shows he has abilities that could have destructive consquences, Martindale becomes interested, so does someone else. 07 St. Anthony's Fire Episode 725th July 1979 The sudden death of two friends involves Tom with a botanical research unit on a lonely island. 08 Out of Body, Out of Mind Episode 81st August 1979 Michael has been discharged from the hospital but seems to be suffering from strange dreams. Tom confides his fears to Scott-Erskine. 09 Double Vision Episode 98th August 1979 Tom Begins to have doubts about Julia's death. Is she still working for the department or is someone out to get him? 10 Illusions Episode 1015th August 1979 Dr. Karl Bruckner has been brought over from East Germany to work for the department and finds himself the centre of a power struggle.
