Kidnapped by Intel representative Kaufman, John Fleming—along with Professor Madeleine Dawnay and Andromeda, the artificially constructed female humanoid—are brought to Azaran, a small Middle Eastern country. Upon arrival, the group discover a duplicate of Fleming's machine has been built by Intel. After many dangers, Fleming finds both the reason for the original message having been sent and the means to bring the machine under human control.

01 Cold Front still Cold Front Episode 128th June 1962 Andromeda has survived her fall into the underground pool. She and John Fleming go on the run from the British authorities. 02 Gale Warning still Gale Warning Episode 25th July 1962 Fleming and Andromeda are being hunted both by the British Government and by the Intel trading consortium, who are developing another supercomputer in the newly-independent Middle Eastern country of Azaran. 03 Azaran Forecast still Azaran Forecast Episode 312th July 1962 The Intel trading organization have kidnapped biochemist Madeleine Dawnay and physicist John Fleming and want them to work for them. Something strange is happening to the world's weather, and Andromeda's health is failing. 04 Storm Centers still Storm Centers Episode 419th July 1962 The Intel trading consortium has backed a military coup in Azaran. Mlle Gamboule has been drawn to the computer by Andromeda who, apparently dying, is determined to work out the purpose of the message from space. 05 Hurricane still Hurricane Episode 526th July 1962 The alien enzyme is causing the Earth's atmosphere to get thinner, and violent storms are sweeping the world. Intel get the scientists to develop a solution, to be sold on their terms. A counter-revolution led by the former president overthrows the rebels and Intel. 06 Roman Peace still Roman Peace Episode 62nd August 1962 Fleming and Dawney work on a formula to restore Andromeda to health. Andromeda deciphers the signals, but can Earth be saved?
