Ben and Vanessa receive the DNA results, confirming Ben is Grace's father. Vanessa gives Ben an ultimatum – give up Gina or she will move out with Grace. Li Yan is devastated after failing to dissuade Vanessa from going ahead with the ultimatum, and Salmah highlights to Li Yan about her pining for her late daughter on Grace – wanting Grace to stay for her own sake rather than Ben's. Adam offers Chris a job at his gym. Chris is proud and happy and tells Li Yan the news. However, Li Yan has other pressing issues in mind and she appears to brush him off, leaving him disappointed.
