Mirza and his friend are sharing a meal, when soldiers arrive looking for them. He escapes and plans to go to Ghazni.

Shah Turkan warns Razia about her journey to Multan. Razia answers with a sharp reply, which shuts Shah Turkan up. Sultan is worried about Razia's safety. He shares his concern with Razia and Rana Martand, the Sultan's commander-in-chief. Shah Turkan and Rukn-ud-din hatch a plan to become the Sultan and Valide Sultan (mother of the Sultan). Razia, along with the royal convoy, starts her journey to Multan. She meets Mirza on her journey.
