Yaqut lets loose snakes in Razia's chambers. The soldiers look for the old woman all over the palace. The old woman, disguised as a maid, walks into Mirza's chambers. She plans to kill Mirza, to get back at Iltutmish. She later learns that Mirza is her son. Mirza goes to See Razia. Scared of the snakes, Razia runs from her bath into the arms of Yaqut. Mirza is shocked to see Razia in Yaqut's arms.

No one except Yaqut believes that Razia saw snakes. Razia has a talk with Mirza. Mirza promises Razia to never doubt her. Mirza and Razia are sharing a moment when the dead body of the royal doctor falls. Iltutmish is furious with the death news. He asks Razia, Rukn-ud-din, Iqbal, and Muiz to find the killer as a part of the competition. Yaqut presents a dagger as evidence. Iltutmish and Mirza realise that the dagger belonged to the old woman.
