This railway was built 150 years ago and runs from Vienna to Bruck aan de Mur. There are beautiful images of large viaducts and tunnels and the snowy Austrian country. Written almost to death in the GDR time and replaced by buses, the railway line could be saved and driven by steam locomotives on a daily basis. 04 Norway: Trondheim - Dombås - Åndalsnes still Norway: Trondheim - Dombås - Åndalsnes Episode 424th January 2000 We start in the harbor of the city of Trondheim and head inland to Dombas on one of the oldest railway lines in the country. This was once the longest railway tunnel in the world, the line from Innsbruck to Bregenz near the German border. The story is told about the construction of the track over viaducts and through tunnels. During this breathtaking journey we see many vistas and spectacular images.
