Episode 219th November 2015 In the first unconventional challenge, the young designers must create garments out of materials found at a car wash. 03 Teamwork Is Hard Episode 33rd December 2015 The designers are divided into two teams and must create cohesive mini collections inspired by the decades; one team gets off to a bad start. 04 OMG! That's Michelle Obama Episode 410th December 2015 First lady Michelle Obama surprises the designers with a challenge; one winning design will be manufactured and sold to benefit the Peace Corps' initiative, Let Girls Learn. 05 Race to the Red Carpet Episode 517th December 2015 The designers are tasked with creating a red carpet look in only five short hours; Tim brings in some talented surprise guests to help the designers. 06 Superstar Clients Episode 67th January 2016 The designers' clients for the challenge are the Knicks City Dancers; some designers struggle to work with clients for the first time. 07 OOTD Episode 714th January 2016 The designers must choose their muses from people on the streets of New York; the judges struggle with an emotional elimination. 08 Make a Statement Episode 821st January 2016 In the final challenge to determine who will compete during New York Fashion Week, the designers must create a look that makes a personal statement. 09 Finale, Part 1 Episode 928th January 2016 The final designers head home to create their collections for New York fashion week, and receive last minute advice from the judges. 10 Finale, Part 2 Episode 104th February 2016 Conclusion. In the Season 1 finale, the young designers put the finishing touches on their garments and showcase their collections at New York Fashion Week. Later, the winner is announced.
