Meanwhile, Elliot isn't glad to find out Fowler is investigating Ann's death. Fowler knows Ann has spent time in a mental institution and questions Steven if it's possible she had committed suicide. Allison tells Fowler she saw Lee holding a bottle on the bluff.

Lee's bottle is found and he is soon arrested. Allison tries to convince Chris to tell her what he knows, but he states he doesn't know anything. Lee blames Allison for his arrest and calls Sandy to order her to find out what she told the police. He also makes her tell everyone that he was with her around the time that Ann died. Meanwhile, Steven and Betty return home from Ann's funeral. Steven thinks Hannah is responsible for Ann's death. Hannah assures Peyton she had nothing to do with Ann's death. Sandy is bullying Allison by calling her a tease and blaming her for lying to the police to get Lee jailed.
