Steven threatens to take legal actions against Lee if he keeps on harassing Ann. Rodney interrupts them and gets Lee to admit he was talking trash about him to Steven. When Rod fires him, they end up fighting, with Rodney winning the fight. Meanwhile, Connie offers Ann a job at the book store. She accepts, but is afraid her bad reputation will cause Connie to have less customers. Sandy is afraid of Lee and goes to Rita for support. Leslie wants to cooperate with Steven to destroy Peyton. Betty tells Peyton she doesn't want to keep the secret any longer, but Peyton forces her to stay quiet.

Rita tries to make Rodney give Lee his job back, but he doesn't want to. Steven confronts Betty with all the gossip about her hanging out with Rod and he ends up storming out of the house. Sandy wants to work out her relationship with Lee, but he tells her she means nothing to him. In a drunk mood, he storms out and goes to Ann's apartment. Sandy tries to stop him, but he pushes her away.
