Matt insists Eli be contacted in Florida with the news of Elliot's condition. Elliot awakens and is told that he'll survive. Claire Morton arrives at the hospital and meets Rossi. Leslie thanks Elliot for saving his life then demands to meet with Paul Hanley.

Leslie offers to pay Elliot's medical bills in gratitude, but Elliot states that he only wants his good name back. Leslie promises to clear Elliot of Elizabeth's murder. Rodney learns from Betty that George and Paul were drinking at Ada's Tavern just before George attempted to kill Leslie. After Elliot begins to hemorrhage, Constance asks to speak with Allison. Leslie meets with attorney Theodore Dowell and offers a full confession about Elizabeth's murder.
