David visits Martin Peyton, but ends up in a conversation with Hannah Cord, stating he can't see Mr. Peyton. Steven asks Julie if she disapproves of him. Rod wonders where the Chernaks live.

Rod asks Stella where Joe is and admits Joe beat up Norman. Dr. Rossi tries medicate Gus, but Stella responds he is away. Jerry encounters Betty and questions her about Steven, but she is very distant to him. Connie wants to arrange a farewell party for Matt, but he discourages the idea. He later tells Allison goodbye. Meanwhile, Joe forces himself up into Rita's place and asks her to be his girl again, but she refuses to. He next grabs and kisses her. Allison invites Norman to spend the evening with her at the Schuster home. Leslie phones the Carsons from Rome and asks Connie about Rod and Allison's relationship and wonders how Norman is doing. Elliot announces to him he will be the new editor.
