The Trial of Mary Surratt

An ex-cavalry officer of the U.S. Army returns to his law practice after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. He is convinced of Mary Surratt's guilt in the conspiracy, but friends persuade him to talk to Mary and possibly defend her.
