Roberto, his eldest son, took over the newspaper's management and began modernizing it. 02 The Newspaper and the Dictatorship still The Newspaper and the Dictatorship Episode 29th July 2025 In editorials, Roberto Marinho supports the 1964 military coup but personally defends his communist employees. Devoting himself to TV Globo, he hires Evandro Carlos de Andrade as editor-in-chief. 03 The Return of Democracy still The Return of Democracy Episode 310th July 2025 With the return to democracy, Roberto Marinho expanded his political influence, and "O Globo" became Rio's leading newspaper.
