Among the arrested is Kalyan Basu, Soumik’s close associate. As investors pull out, Julie brokers a deal with cricket team owner Mohit Sidhwani. Her world shatters with the suicide of a young prostitute, Rinku.

Ace In The Hole

Julie leads a protest against cop Probir Das after Sneho dies in custody and Rinku kills herself. The march goes viral, and Sanjay Mitra makes her a partner in Illumination Builders. Meanwhile, Sidhwani backs Mitra in exchange for election defeat. CBI officer Soumik suspects Julie’s involvement in the scam and prepares a crackdown on Illumination and her NGO. The murdered bank manager is found buried at an Illumination site. Soumik interrogates Mitra, but Julie bails him out. Upset with her father for his closeness with Julie, Reshmi, Mitra’s daughter, tips off Soumik. He gives Julie an ultimatum: betray Mitra or go down with him.
