Steel sections are shaped, welded and pressure-tested as tanks for vehicle air-brake systems; cooked grain is flaked, toasted and coated with a sweet frosting; and fossils are exposed, stabilized and prepared by removing the surrounding rock.

Raw clay is excavated, crushed, analysed and blended into a consistent material for industrial use. Dried plums are softened, mechanically pitted and graded; metal is shaped and decorated into riding spurs; and liquid polyurethane is poured into moulds and cured around wheel hubs to produce resilient tires.
