Savita questions Indira's survival, to which Inder reveals that Munna may know, as he was the last one to leave the cremation ground the day Indira died. Later, Munna reveals to Zaara that on that fateful day, Rishi fainted, and was taken to the hospital, while he went for a drink when it started to rain and did not return to collect Indira’s ashes. Zaara tells Rishi that she wants to confirm Indira’s identity.

Kutumbh is disgusted to see Indira urinate on the staircase, but Rishi cleans it up. Zaara tells everyone that she solved the mystery of Indira's survival. Zaara explains that Shweta declared Indira dead when Indira temporarily stopped breathing. Later, Indira escaped to a village from the cremation ground with burns on her arm, where she was treated along with another man who was also wounded and afterwards, they went missing. Zaara asks everyone to rejoice but she herself breaks down.
