01 Pilot Episode 114th September 2005 Former superstar attorney Jason Payne suffers a nervous breakdown and spends some time at a wellness center, where he meets Shultz, a lawyer who represents petty criminals. The two eventually decide to work together defending underdog clients, while trying to regain their sanity. 02 S(elf) Help Episode 221st September 2005 Payne and Shultz try to help a client who is accused of blowing up a car dealership that belongs to his father-in-law. Without consulting with Payne, Shultz invites a paralegal to join their firm. To balance out the firm, Payne tries to hire his old secretary back.
