Following their mother's passing, Shelley and Marty are welcomed into the Amadio home bringing back difficult memories for Edwina about the lose of her own mother. Coral agrees to go out with Hopper much to her daughter Belinda's delight.

Trish works out where Hopper got the money from and warns him that Neville must never know Daniel Blake is his anonymous benefactor. Frannie gets jealous when she sees Dave with another woman. Dave's girlfriend wants him to make a commitment to their relationship but when he hesitates, she breaks up with him. Belinda helps her mother prepare for her date. Hopper's late to pick her up and things go downhill from there.
