Martha and George break the news to everyone at the pub and nobody understands why Bob died when the operation had been such a success. Di tells Penny that Bronco is lying to her and that she never knew he wanted to divorce her to live with Penny. Penny confronts Bronco and when he admits he has been lying she tells him to leave. However he turns violent and rapes her. Jack arrives at the funeral and delivers the eulogy. He tells everyone he realises they hate him because Bob has died, and he understands that. However he wants them to know he loved Bob too.
