What's more, the accident - and the mysterious hitch-hiker who caused it - threaten to destroy a young couple's relationship. Bas and Beatrice decide to take a drive themselves.

Local policeman Vonnie helps the Spreeus solve the mystery of the mysterious hitch-hiker. But to stop the deaths along the road, they need to dig up the past, and try to heal old wounds. Bas and Beatrice's plan tries to bring consolation, not only for the ghosts, but for the town itself.
