Trask “convinces” Gabriel to tell the Constable that Quentin was planning to “stop” Randall before his death. Quentin is placed under arrest.

Gerard and Charles Dawson stage a seance in which Randall claims to have been killed by Quentin. Daniel plans to chose a new heir.
