Her ex-roomy slash ex-girlfriend contacts her - only to decline being the hero once more. Laura has to accept it, and leaves to help Danny and the others - only to miss Carmilla's second last call.

After Laura and Danny were able to bring back a severely injured Kirsch to the apartment, Danny steps out again and seems to be victorious. Alas, one of Kirsch's Zeta bros, Theo, stabs her in the back, leaving her die in Laura's arms. The fight is over - and Baron von Vordenberg announces his victory and the impending execution of Carmilla Karnstein.
