But in the process of catching him, they encounter a child at the railway station, who has run away from home in search of his father. His father, who worked in Mumbai, has recently stopped sending him letters, a tradition he kept up for ages. The search begins for the boy's missing father.

The Missing Father - Part 2

Chasing the lead of a photograph of the boy's father, taken some time ago, CID officers find out that it was taken as a part of a fraudulent program that promised to help people begin a new life in Japan, of which the father was a victim. They find out that after he was defrauded, he went into a life of crime- becoming a thief to try to earn back his money. As fate would have it, he was only recently released from prison. The search carries on.
