Eddie can't sing a note, but that doesn't stop him from trying out for the lead in the school's spring musical! Together with Gregory Woodpecker, who has stage fright but sings brilliantly, Eddie lip- synchs to Greg's voice - and a star is hatched! Only after being showered with praise does Eddie realize that Gregory is the one who deserves it! His attempts to get Gregory on stage almost stop the show, but Eddie's persistence pays off! Gregory overcomes his stage fright, and the musical is a smashing success!

The Life of Riley

Eddie is overwhelmed and impressed when Riley Raven, a super cool, bad egg arrives in town. Vying for Riley's acceptance as a ""cool bird"", Eddie starts getting into all sorts of trouble - failing school, beaking off to his parents and flying out on chores. Eddie's envy really soars when Riley quits school and gets a job - and his parents don't even seem to care! However, when Eddie discovers that Riley isn't happy and wishes he had parents who did care, Eddie begins to realize that his parents lay down the law out of love and caring.
