Saanjh, who believes that Maya has framed Arjun in her murder, sneaks into Maya's apartment to find evidence to prove her point. But, her plan fails as the police also arrive at the scene and arrest her. Later, the police interrogate Saanjh and Arjun. During the interrogation, the police show Maya's diary to Arjun. In the diary, Maya has claimed that Arjun wanted to kill her unborn child.
