He made his breakthrough playing the lead role in Madha Yaanai Koottam (2013), before gaining critical acclaim for his performance in Kirumi (2015). His award-winning portrayal of a law student from an oppressed caste in the film Pariyerum Perumal (2018) garnered rave reviews from critics.
